Our History
Since 1904, Allensville Baptist Church has been a place where people gather to worship Jesus Christ, grow in their faith, and serve others with love.
Nestled in the community of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, our church has remained committed to sharing the hope of the Gospel while faithfully serving generations of families.
We invite you to join us as we seek to love God, love people, and make Christ known in our community and beyond. There is a place for you here, and we would be honored to welcome you.

Our Core Beliefs
At Allensville Baptist Church, we believe the Bible is God's inspired Word and the foundation for our faith and daily living. Our desire is to glorify God through heartfelt worship, biblical teaching, meaningful fellowship, and a passion for reaching our community with the love of Christ.
The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is God's complete revelation to humanity and serves as the final authority for faith, doctrine, and daily living. Every teaching and practice should be measured against the truth of Scripture.
The Holy Trinity
We believe there is one true and living God who eternally exists in three distinct Persons—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Each Person is fully God, equal in power and glory, yet together they are one God, working in perfect unity to accomplish God's plan of redemption.
Creation
We believe God created the heavens, the earth, and all living things by His divine power. Humanity was uniquely created in God's image to know Him, worship Him, and steward His creation. God's creation reveals His wisdom, power, and goodness.
Sin
We believe that sin entered the world through humanity's disobedience to God. As a result, every person is born with a sinful nature and is separated from God. Because of sin, all people are in need of forgiveness and reconciliation through Jesus Christ.
Atonement for Sin
We believe Jesus Christ, the sinless Son of God, willingly gave His life on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for our sins. Through His death and resurrection, He paid the penalty that we could never pay, making forgiveness and eternal life available to all who place their faith in Him.
Salvation
We believe salvation is God's gift of grace and cannot be earned through good works or religious efforts. It is received by repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone. Those who trust in Christ are forgiven, made new through the Holy Spirit, and given the assurance of eternal life with God.
“The Lord is my Strength and my Shield; My heart trusted in him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.”
